Friends of the Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson say the actor plans to get engaged to musician girlfriend F.K.A. Twigs in the not too distant future.
A source close to the actor told Grazia magazine that they expect an engagement over the festive period.
“He knows things are moving fast, but he wants to show his commitment. Everyone is bracing themselves.”
“Rob will be visiting Tahliah and her mum in Gloucestershire over Christmas,” the source continued.
“He’s on a charm offensive as he really sees this relationship going the distance.”
Recently, F.K.A. Twigs admitted that the glare of publicity surrounding her relationship with Pattinson forced her to reconsider whether he was the right man for her.
The Two Weeks singer opened up in a new interview with The Observer, saying that the positives of her love for the Twilight star outweigh the negatives.
“That side of my life [with the paparazzi has] nothing to do with me. That’s, like… That is the… side of life of the man that I love. And… when that started happening I had to… Because that is the opposite of who I am as a person, and it was weird…” she said.
“Then I had to sit back and have a conversation with myself and I had to say: that is something really horrible. No, not horrible, I don’t find it horrible, it’s something that’s very challenging. I look uncomfortable because I am uncomfortable. But then it’s, like, is this person in my life worth that? And he is, without question. Do you know what I mean? In comparison to how happy I am. And how I feel with him. It’s 100 percent worth it.”
