But now, the ring has suddenly become less admirable than we first thought as Machine Gun Kelly has revealed more behind what we once thought was a touching sentiment.
As it seems, the beautiful ring is designed to specifically “hurt” Megan if she ever tries to take it off. Ok then.
Opening up about the ring in an interview with Vogue, MGK said: “The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet.

“So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts.
“Love is pain!”
But we’re not the only ones who seemed to think this is all a bit too much, fans on Twitter are thinking the same, with one saying: “Can we move on from celebrity couples they’re all insane like why does Megan Fox’s engagement ring have THORNS in it.”
Another wrote: “I wonder what MGK and Megan Fox will do when they divorce, like they will have each other’s blood for life and the girl won’t be able to take off the ring because it will hurt too much.”
