Ouch.

Ariana Grande has seemingly called out Pete Davidson after he joked about their engagement – and their break-up – in a new promo for Saturday Night Live.

The 25-year-old singer appeared to take aim at her former fiancé after the new trailer for an upcoming episode of SNL was released.

The comedian seemingly made a reference to their short-lived engagement in the footage, which shows him joking about proposing to musical guest Maggie Rogers right after meeting her.

He asks her:

“Hey Maggie, I’m Pete – you wanna get married?”

After she turns him down, he says: “0 for 3.”

The comedian previously dated Larry David’s daughter, Cazzie, as well as actress Carly Aquilino – however it isn’t clear if he was engaged to either of them.

The God Is A Woman singer took to Twitter on Thursday to respond to the promo, according to PEOPLE.

In a series of since-deleted tweets, she said:

“For somebody who claims to hate relevancy [you] sure love clinging to it huh. Thank [you], next.”

Ariana also ‘liked’ a tweet shared by a fan that said:

“SNL is about to milk their breakup just like they did with the engagement.”

The pair called off their engagement last month, after five months together.

Ariana, 25, and Pete, 24, decided that it simply “wasn’t the right time” for them to be together, a source claimed to TMZ.

They still have love for each other and wouldn’t rule out getting back together in the future, the source continued, but for now it’s over for them romantically.
