Ariana previously joked that her love of black hearts is due to the “emptiness” of her own following her split from Davidson.
She covered up her first Pete-related tattoo soon after the pair broke up.
She had the word ‘reborn’ tattooed on the side of her hand, as a reference to Pete’s favourite Kid Cudi song.
The word was soon replaced by a leaf, with the coverup being shared on Ari’s Instagram a few days later.
Ariana and Pete called their engagement off over a month ago after five months of dating.
The sweetener singer made things official with Davidson soon after her split from Mac Miller, who she dated for two years.
Sources close to the pair stated that it “wasn’t the right time” for them to be together.
Ahead of the split, Ariana took a brief break from music to “take care” of herself. She returned earlier this month with her breakup magnum opus, thank u, next.
