It may be the celeb holiday spot for any New Yorker worth their salt, but it looks like The Kardashians aren’t welcome in the Hamptons.
Local authorities are asking residents to call the police if the famous clan are caught filming on their public beaches.
The latest reality project, “Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons” has caused upset to Hampton residents, with local Joan Tulp telling a town board meeting how a day filming the show interrupted her break:
“A beautiful and quiet day . . . we were surrounded and our peace shattered by filmmakers and paparazzi accompanying the Kardashians.”
Now East Hampton Town trustee Diane McNally has instructed town members to report the family to the police for them to be removed from the beach. Addressing the meeting, she said:
“Who gave the Kardashians permission to film? The trustees should have been notified if they had applied for a permit to film on the beach, and we were not notified. Filming on our beaches is disruptive. Our residents are entitled to peace and quiet. I suggest that if anyone sees the Kardashians filming on the beach, they should call the police, because they are not legally there.”
