Azealia Banks Cancels Again? Electric Picnic Confirmed That The Rapper Won’t Perform this Weekend

It seems Azealia Banks just couldn’t make up her mind whether or not to appear at Electric Picnic this weekend.

The US rapper first cancelled her appearance at the festival due to recording commitments and the festival caused confusion among fans when they released a statement last night, confirming she had cancelled for a different reason.

"Following on from reports earlier announcing that Azealia Banks cancelled her performance at Ibiza Rocks, we can confirm she also has pulled out of Electric Picnic 2012 due to exhaustion," said a statement on the official Facebook page.

"We wish her a speedy recovery!"

The statement suggested that the rapper had rebooked her appearance at the festival after her first cancellation. Confusing right?

Although organisers denied rumours of her cancellation last night, the “double-cancellation” was confirmed this morning.

Azealia Banks’ set was due to take place at 11.15pm on the Cosby Stage and was one of the most anticipated of the weekend on the back of her single ‘212’.

A replacement has not yet been announced.
