Baby-Bonding: Adele and Lily Allen Have Become “Pregnancy Buddies.”

When you get pregnant, there’s nothing better than having a friend who is also expecting. You can talk about what pregnancy is like, you can go shopping for baby clothes together and, most importantly, you can swap tips on how to overcome morning sickness.

We have to say we thought it was pretty cool when we heard that Adele and Lily Allen have reportedly become “pregnancy buddies.”

The two singers have been friends for ages, despite the fact that they haven’t always been in close contact. But apparently they’ve been having baby-related chats for some time now.

Lily is currently expecting her second child with her husband Sam Cooper, while Adele is expecting her first child with her partner Simon Konecki.

“Adele and Lily lost contact due to their busy schedules but, lately, they’ve grown closer again, saying they’re pregnancy buddies. Lily’s been giving Adele loads of advice,” said a source, speaking to Closer magazine.

Singer Lily Allen is also pregnant at the minute and has been texting Adele.

Back in 2010, Lily Allen famously announced that she was retiring from the music industry in order to concentrate on starting a family with her other half. Adele has also put her career on hold, pending the birth of her little bundle of joy.

“Adele’s a homebody – she’s been cooking for mates and shopping [for baby clothes],” said the source.

“She and Lily joke they’re not very ‘celeb’ mothers –to-be and message each other stuff like, ‘Ate a while packet of biscuits. Bet Posh [Spice] didn’t do that!’” the source added.

Does anyone else think that Lily and Adele’s baby-bonding is kind of cool? We wonder if their kids will be BFFs too?
