Bella! TV3 Host Ties The Knot In Style In Sun-Soaked Sicily

Xposé host Karen Koster and businessman John McGuire said "I do" on the island of Sicily yesterday.

The pair escaped to the sun and tied the knot in front of family and friends before a lavish after-party at the five-star Grand Hotel Timeo, the Irish Sun reports.

Karen's co-star and friend Lisa Cannon told the paper how she brought the loved-up couple together four years ago. 

“I was there on the first night they got together and I urged Karen to go over to talk to John," Lisa said.

“It’s nice to think that I have played a little part in all of this.

“We can’t be there as it’s really just a family wedding but we are all thinking of her, she’s one of my closest friends and I’m thrilled for them both.”

New hubby John tweeted his joy on the big day.

Karen and John have signed the dotted line on a deal for their wedding photos with RSVP magazine and are both looking forward to the beginning of their married life together.

Karen tweeted a snapshot thanking friends before the big day.

“We don’t want to leave somewhere beautiful to go and fly somewhere long haul and we’ve run out of money," Karen told the Irish Mirror.

"So we’re going to stay in Sicily and head north to a few islands” the presenter added.
