DiCaprio was doing his thing on the red carpet at the Santa Barbara Film Festival on Thursday evening, when a fan ran from the crowd to give him a hug.
Not just any old hug, the man grabs a hold of DiCaprio’s leg and embraces his lower half, (cue: “sure would you blame him” jokes).
Ready to pounce: Turns out the crazed fan is actually Ukrainian journalist, Vitalli Seduik, a notorious prankster at celebrity events and red carpets.
After a few awkward seconds the star’s security guards put an end to the display of man love.
Laughing it off, DiCaprio seemed to take the hugging of his nether regions quite well.
We’re sure that the 39-year-old has become accustomed to fans, but this display of affection is below the belt.
