Bette Midler dressed as her Hocus Pocus character for a Halloween party

Over 20 years later and she still looks incredible.

No matter how many Halloween themed movies or horrors come get released, we will always have a special place in our hearts for Hocus Pocus.

It’s hard to believe that the film came out almost 25 years ago.

If you haven’t seen it (go watch it!!), it revolved around three sassy witches: Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

It very quickly became a cult film and if you’ve seen it you’ll know why.

Since the first film became so popular people are constantly crying out for a sequel. Even Bette Midler herself agrees.

“You don’t get to see women doing slapstick too much, and in the movie you can see that we’re having a blast,” she told Billboard.

“For the life of me, I can’t understand why there’s not a sequel.

“All the shackles were off, as Donald Trump likes to say, and we were allowed to be as wild as we wanted to be. It was a perfect storm of fun.”

So we weren’t to surprised to see Bette pay homage to her amazing character Winnie at a recent Halloween party.

Bette is the found of The New York Restoration Project which celebrated its 21st anniversary at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City on Friday where she wore the incredible costume.
