Betty White has shared her secrets for a long-lasting life and they're definitely...interesting. Parade recently quizzed the 95-year-old Golden Girls star on how she has lived such a long and happy life. As it turns out, it all comes down to two things in particular:

1. Vodka
2. Hot Dogs

And "probably in that order", too. The six-time Emmy winner added that she also just tries to focus on the positive things in life to help her live happily. She added:

“Accentuate the positive, not the negative. “It sounds so trite, but a lot of people will pick out something to complain about, rather than say, ‘Hey, that was great!’ "It’s not hard to find great stuff if you look.”

She also offered her advice to anyone dreaming of Hollywood, urging them to "do your work". She said:

“Learn your lines and come in prepared. “Don’t think you can wing it, because you can’t. "We’re in show business, which is fun, but take your business seriously, because it is a serious business.”

The actress, who will turn 96 on January 17, admitted that she's only got one thing on her birthday wishlist: to finally meet Robert Redford. The pair have not collaborated before - or even met - but it's been a longstanding wish of White's to meet her celebrity crush. She added:

“But it never works. I try every year."
