Blue singer Lee Ryan has apologised for going on what has been described as a “drunken naked rampage” in a Scottish hotel at the weekend.
According to the Daily Mirror, the star stripped off all his clothes and danced around nude in front of other guests during a night out at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow on Sunday.
“You don’t expect somebody to start stripping naked in front of you, especially someone who’s famous… His people got round him and hustled him away. Alcohol was certainly involved, he was absolutely blazing (drunk). He was making an a** of himself and didn’t care,” said an eyewitness.
A spokeswoman for the star said he apologised for any upset or inconvenience caused, adding that it “goes without saying that he is extremely shame-faced after a fun night out got out of hand”.
