James McVey of British boyband The Vamps has admitted he is broken-hearted after discovering that his girlfriend was cheating on him.
Fans of the band are understood to have spotted McVey’s girlfriend Kirstie Brittain in a photo on Instagram that showed her getting cosy with another man and decided to tag the singer in an effort to bring it to his attention.
The 20-year-old was left broken-hearted by the news and dumped Brittain, before appealing to his followers to stop reminding him of the betrayal.
The singer revealed that he was spending time with his family while recovering from the nasty break-up.
“I’ve been eating loads of Haribo, that’s the best way to get over a broken heart. Also these guys, my bandmates, have been great just cheering me up. Surrounding yourself with family and friends helps too,” he told Now Magazine.
