Brace Yourselves Ryan Gosling Fans, There’s More Bad News

Our hearts were broken earlier this week when Eva Mendes said she wanted his babies and now they’ve been broken all over again as Ryan Gosling has revealed he is taking a break from acting.

Apparently the Hollywood hottie thinks that he needs to take some time out from the big screen and that we’re getting sick of him. As if that would ever happen!

Ryan has had a busy year most recently starring in Gangster Squad. 

Speaking to The Associated Press Ryan said: “I’ve been doing it too much. I’ve lost perspective on what I’m doing. I think it’s good for me to take a break and reassess why I’m doing it and how I’m doing it.”

We can do that for you Ryan: you’re doing it because we love you and you’re doing a fantastic job.

 

The Place Beyond the Pines is due out later this year.

He added: “I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does… I haven’t quite figured out what the balance is between being able to be lost in it – or try to, anyway – and then step outside of it.”

But there is one tiny silver lining as Ryan’s new flick The Place Beyond the Pines is still to be released which means we’ll get to ogle him one last time before he disappears. Although it does star his real-life girlfriend so maybe we’ll just re-watch The Notebook.
