Brad Pitt is alive despite a false report claiming otherwise.
The Moneyball actor was rumoured to have kicked the bucket after a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.
The source reported that Bitt crashed into a tree while snowboarding in the country and died as a result of his injuries.
The news spread like wildfire on social networking website Twitter despite a disclaimer that said the report was completely false.
The actor has been confirmed live and well.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently living in the UK with their children
Pitt and his family are currently based in the UK as his partner Angelina Jolie is currently filming Disney’s Maleficent, in which she plays the lead role.
The couple was last week named as victims in phone hacking, which was allegedly carried out by journalists in the fallen News of the World
