Brad’s Family Are Still Friends With Jennifer Aniston

It was one of the celebrity world’s most-publicised divorces. He wanted kids, she didn’t want kids… rumours circled the world for months afterwards and “poor Jen” was branded a spinster when Angelina Jolie arrived on the scene.

It was a happy fairy-tale ending for all though, as Jennifer recently got engaged to her handsome beau Justin Theroux and Brad became head of the family to himself and Jolie’s brood of kids.

Now, it has been revealed that Jennifer Aniston is still considered a “friend” of Brad Pitt’s family.

The 43-year-old actress divorced her fellow Hollywood star Brad back in 2005.

Doug Pitt, who is the younger brother of the actor, has said that, although both Jennifer and Brad have now moved on, their families still feel a connection.

“Of course we are still friends [with Jennifer Aniston],” Doug revealed during an Australian radio interview.

“You know it's the same with everybody, there is never any ill will felt. It is old news now. We don't cross paths anymore, but we are just like anybody else's history, if you will. It was awkward seven or eight years ago, but it's been a long time now. We've moved on. All is well."

Doug has joked that having an A-list brother can sometimes ruin his fun. Businessman Doug says it is not appropriate for him to mention Brad's current fiancée Angelina Jolie's beauty and good looks.

"It kind of takes the fun out of it when there is a relative involved," Doug joked. "Do I think [Angelina] is gorgeous? No comment!"

Now, we’re wondering if Angelina will be sending Jennifer a congratulatory wedding card…
