Last night, reality TV star, Caitlyn Jenner attended an awards show in Dublin.

The 68-year-old was invited to Dublin to accept the “Beauty Icon” award at the Xpose Benefit Awards taking place at Mansion House.

The star wore a black velvet midi dress and looked glamorous as she took to the stage to thank the audience.

Speaking on the importance of real beauty, the star said:

“We talk about beauty, fashion, all those types of things…first of all, the way I look at it, I look at this room and there are beautiful women everywhere, I think beauty is more than just what you see. Beauty is about your soul.”

She continued by discussing womanhood and her thoughts on feminism, by saying:

“I remember one time, somebody asked, ‘Are you a feminist?’ I said, ‘Oh my God, I never even thought about, what do you mean am I a feminist?’ It was just a lot of issues out there that I’m working on. If you think a feminist is a woman who is strong, who is independent, intelligent and can take this world and grasp it and go after it, yes there’s a lot of things.”

Lastly, the star spoke about the LGBT community and how impressed she was with Ireland’s approach towards these issues.”In my community, in the trans community, the L, the G, the B and the T, the T portion is the most underfunded by far. I really judge a people and a country by the way they treat the LGBT community, I just have to say Ireland has done such a good job when it comes to these issues.”

Plenty of Irish faces took to the pink carpet last night including Pippa O’Connor, Roz Purcell, Rosie Connolly and Love Island’s Montana Rose Brown.
