Can’t Say We’ve Heard That One Before: Actress Uma Thurman Reveals Daughter’s Unique Name

She gave birth back in July but it’s only now that Uma Thurman has told the world what her daughter is called. 

The Pulp Fiction actress and her partner Arpad Busson welcomed their baby daughter at the start of the summer and managed to stay tight-lipped about what they called her. But now, People magazine have lifted the lid on the name.

Proud parents: Uma and Arpad have announced the name of their daughter.

Her official title is Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson but the couple have apparently said that she will be known as Luna to friends and family.

Uma’s representative confirmed the name in a statement adding: “Each name has a special reason and meaning to her mother and father.” And there we were thinking that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were being different with the name Apple!

Una also has two children from her relationship with actor Ethan Hawke.

Luna is the newest addition to the expanding Thurman-Busson clan which also includes Uma’s two children from her marriage to Ethan Hawke and Arpad’s two sons from his relationship with Elle McPherson. Uma and Arpad got together back in 2007 and after a brief split, reunited last year.
