Caroline Flack Responds to “Hurtful” Article in a One Direction Fan Magazine

We all know that when it comes to loving a celebrity or a musician, there are always a few intense people out there who give the rest of the fandom a bad name.

Case in point? One Direction fans are generally lovely people, however recently a very nasty article surfaced in a One Direction fan magazine about TV presenter Caroline Flack. Let’s just say that the article insulted her looks, her intelligence and had a go at her for her brief relationship with Harry Styles.

The Irish Independent reports that Caroline has finally responded to the article and said that it was “one of the most hurtful things I’ve ever read.”

The article was originally published in Girl’s Guide to One Direction (a fan magazine) and it portrayed Caroline as a voodoo doll. It then went on to point out her “crow’s feet cause by old age” and suggested that she try dating “boys your age, not your shoe size.”

Harsh or what? The article also made fun of Caroline’s hair saying: “Grandma Caroline’s dirty-blonde dye makes her straw-like do look like the ground at a petting zoo.” And, for an extra dig, it also pointed out the following: “Note: Zero engagement rings. Because no one wants to be with her.”

Speaking about the article, Caroline tweeted the following to her 888,251 fans on Twitter:
