While it might promise you fame, Love Island must be a bizarre experience.
Just think about it; you’re in a villa full of strangers, you have no access to the outside world, you literally can’t go anywhere else and all day you’re being pulled for ‘chats’.
It’s strange, and we’d even say… boring.
Of course, you might find the love of your life and a new career for yourself… but still, it’s odd.
Anton and Belle let a few secrets out about how they spent their time in the villa and how a secret language developed so they could talk without bosses knowing.
They also said that they used to resort to games such as Hide and Seek to keep themselves entertained.
Speaking on the Heat podcast Under The Covers, they revealed that anytime a new Islander would arrive into the villa, the original Islanders would grill them about the outside world.
However, the one thing they all wanted to know?
How many Instagram followers they had.
Anton said: “Everyone was so obsessed with it. All of us are always on our social media and when it’s taken away from you you’re curious about what’s going on.”
Belle added: “And I kept saying to him, ‘If you keep asking me about your follows I’m going to have to move out.'”
