Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are said to be set for divorce, with the pair having “lived separately” for months.
According to several US sources, a split between the couple is “imminent” and Mariah suspects that husband-of-six-years Nick has been cheating on her while hosting Vegas pool parties.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six that the singer dispatched a security guard to accompany Cannon to the events to make sure he stayed out of trouble.
“The security guard wasn’t there to keep the girls away from him. It was to keep him away from the girls,” they said.
“He hasn’t been staying at their home. He’s been living out of hotels. They’re fighting a lot.”
Rumours that the pair’s relationship is on the rocks have been circulating for some time, with the couple understood to have put their $13 million mansion on the market in July.
