Cherry Seaborn recovering well after being diagnosed with tumour

“It has been an incredibly tough time”

Ed Sheeran’s wife Cherry Seaborn is recovering well after she underwent surgery to remove a tumour.

The mum-of-two was diagnosed with a tumour during her pregnancy.

However, doctors could not remove it until after she gave birth to her second child.

She has since had the tumour removed and is reportedly doing well.

A source close to the singer told The Sun that it was incredibly tough for the couple.

“It’s been an incredibly tough time for Cherry and Ed,” the source shared.

“The tumour came as a huge shock, and the fact they couldn’t operate straight away was hugely concerning and scary.

“But after Jupiter arrived safely, Cherry Seaborn has now received the treatment needed and is recovering well. They both hope it will be a much better 2023.”

Ed Sheeran confirmed the heartbreaking news yesterday.

He wrote on Instagram;

“At the start of 2022, a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art.

“Within the space of a month, my pregnant wife got told she had a tumour.

Sheeran said there was “no route to treatment until after the birth”.

“My best friend Jamal, a brother to me, died suddenly, and I found myself standing in court defending my integrity and career as a songwriter.

The couple has two children together, Lyra and Jupiter.
