Cheryl Fernandez-Versini made history this week as she became the first British female solo artist to achieve five number one singles over the weekend.

Cheryl previously topped the charts in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014 with Fight for this Love, Promise This, Call my Name and Crazy Stupid Love. Now, her fifth single I Don’t Care has shot into the top spot earning her a place in pop history.

The 31-year-old singer previously enjoyed number one success with Girls Aloud, who scored four number one hits during their time together.

However, other popular singers including Madonna and Rihanna have each bagged more number ones than the X Factor judge, with Queen of Pop Madonna netting 13 while Rihanna notched eight number ones in the UK.

The I Don’t Care single features on Cheryl’s latest album, Only Human.
