The bitter feud between Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh has reached a new high, with producers concerned the ‘toxic relationship’ could affect X-Factor filming.
A source told The Sun:
“The atmosphere has become toxic - she hates him with a real passion and it shows.
“It’s no secret that Cheryl didn’t want Louis on the panel, but since then he has been lording his victory and takes every opportunity to knock her.”
The souce also claimed that the singer won’t be in the same room as Louis off-camera, with producers fearing the sour relationship is “threatening to derail the whole process”.
Contestants revealed that the Geordie star lost her temper with the Irish judge during the Bootcamp stage over the weekend, calling him “fifty-faced” during a row with a contestant.
The pair, who are separated by new judge Mel B on the panel, are now believed to be at breaking point, with show executives worried how the atmosphere will affect the judging of contestants on the live shows.
The two judges have a long-standing feud, which started after Cheryl and the rest of Girls Aloud publicly said they didn’t think he had done a very good job of managing them after they won ‘Popstars: The Rivals’.
