It seems as though one Avenger became a real-life superhero this Christmas.
Captain America star Chris Evans took some time off the promotional trail this festive season to pay a visit to Kenny Botting, a nine-year-old Captain fan battling a brain tumour.
Evans, 33, stopped by the Christopher's Haven facility in Boston to meet his young admirer, signing autographs and playing a game that involved Botting tying the star up, villain style!
The youngster gave Chris a tour of his temporary home, where he is staying while he undergoes radiation treatment for craniopharyngioma.
Speaking to local station CBS station WBZ-TV, Evans said: "If there's any way you can kind of bring a smile or just kind of give positive words of reinforcement and encouragement, it's worth it."
The actor will help raise money for Christopher's Haven at a special event at Fenway Park on January 3rd.
