“If you have bad unexplained cramps, don’t ignore it!”

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has told her fans not to ignore “unexplained cramps” after she had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst.

The celebrity realtor posted a photo from a hospital bed as she explained what happened.

“Had a minor surgery today and had a large ovarian cyst removed,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “Thank you Dr. Hakakha for taking such good care of me.”

She added that she is now “feeling good” and being “looked after”.

Chrishell finished up with a warning to other women to pay attention to any possible symptoms of ovarian cysts.

“If you have bad unexplained cramps, don’t ignore it!” she wrote.

According to the NHS, ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that develop in the ovaries. They usually only cause symptoms if they rupture. In this case, they cause pelvic pain, pain during sex, difficulty in emptying bowels, frequent need to urinate, heavy or irregular periods, bloating, feeling full after only eating a little and difficulty getting pregnant.

Chrishell has been a member of the Selling Sunset cast since it debuted in 2019. The show documented the fallout from her divorce after she was married to Justin Hartley for two years. She then went on to date her boss Jason Oppenheim, before her current relationship with Australian musician G-Flip.

Recently, Chrishell spoke about the negative comments and “unbelievable trolling” she faced when she announced their relationship.

In an interview with Vogue Australia, she said: “Of course we had supportive messages, but it was an unbelievable flood of trolling. Every day I’m seeing like three positive comments and then hundreds of puke emojis and midlife crisis comments.”
