Cyndi Lauper and James Corden joined musical forces to bring a unique version of Cyndi's hit song, Girls Just Want To Have Fun. This time around they sang Girls Just Want Equal Funds addressing the gender pay gap in the workplace.
We knew from her opening lines, that we were in for a treat and the rest of the song did not disappoint. Sticking to similar lyrics as her original song she began with:
"I come home, in the morning light my mother says ‘why don’t you make the same as a guy/Oh mama, dear, we’re not the fortunate ones/’cause girls, they want equal funds.”
