Our favourite flame-haired singer, who left school when he was sixteen, said he was "honoured" to receive the award: "I've had an amazing year with my world tour and this makes it even better. "Suffolk is very much where I call home and I'm always welcomed back and get so much support. Receiving this recognition is a real privilege." The singer also took to Twitter to express his amusement at the fact that he is now a doctor.

It's an exciting time for the 24-year-old, who's three sell-out Wembley gigs are set to hit the big screen later this week in his first feature film, Jumpers For Goalposts.
