Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley has spoken about her whirlwind romance with personal trainer Tom Pifield, saying after three months she knew he was “The One”.
In an interview with OK! magazine, the actress said: “No one’s been shocked at how quickly we’ve moved because people can see how happy we are.
“People say when you meet The One you just know. I’ve thought, it doesn’t happen like that, but three months in I knew. We never argue. He makes me laugh until I cry!”
The couple began dating in January and in August of this year, they announced they were expecting a baby in March 2015. Tom then proposed to Catherine while they were on a romantic break in Venice.

Catherine also told the publication that she and Tom are expecting a baby boy, saying “I had no doubt whatsoever that we were having a boy. It sounds weird but I knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant.
“When the scan confirmed it, I’ve never seen Tom so happy. We were both quite emotional and he gave me a big kiss as we let reality sink in”.
