#Covid-19: Love Island’s Anna Vakili back to work as a pharmacist amid coronavirus outbreak

Keeley Ryan

Love Island’s Anna Vakili has gone back to work as a pharmacist to help in the fight against Covid-19.

The 29-year-old, who appeared on Love Island 2019, was a registered pharmacist before she walked into the villa last summer.

And while she decided to take a break from her career after her time on the reality TV show, she has since re-registered and returned to work amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

She posted a photo of herself back at work on her Instagram account today [April 1], telling her followers that while she hadn’t been planning on registering just yet, “it felt wrong not to” do it given the coronavirus outbreak.

First day back working as a Pharmacist since leaving Love Island. It’s been almost a whole year! Wow can’t believe how fast it’s gone,” she wrote in the caption.

“Wasn’t really planning on registering yet but with everything that’s going on it felt wrong not to. We can all fight this together. Stay safe. Stay home. Save lives.”

Anna’s sister Mandi took to her own Instagram to share that she was “insanely proud” of her sister’s decision.

“Insanely proud of my sister who went back to be a pharmacist after a year to help with the current crisis. Inspiration,” she wrote.
