Croke Park Transformed Ahead Of One Direction Concerts Taking Place This Weekend

ALL of the fangirling!

One Direction fans might be interested to hear that Croke Park has been transformed into a children’s playground for this weekend’s One Direction gigs.

Three concerts are to take place over the weekend and extra security measures have been put in place due to the amount of young people and children attending.

As an extra precaution, under 14s won’t be allowed onto the pitch for fear they will get crushed in the vast crowd.

A special smartphone app has also been developed to help the gig run smoothly and specially trained staff will be on duty at the gigs, according to the Irish Independent.

It’s predicted that 240,000 people will attend the first concert taking place tomorrow and two further gigs are scheduled for Saturday May 24 and Sunday May 25.

Mullingar man Niall Horan is pretty excited for his homecoming to Ireland judging by a tweet he posted yesterday.
