Former N-Dubz star Dappy (real name Dino Costas Contostavlos) has been found guilty of assaulting a man at a nightclub earlier this year.
According to The Independent the music star denied attacking George Chittock, claiming that he acted out in self-defence after being insulted, at Chicago’s nightclub in Essex on February 27th.
But he was convicted by magistrates at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court and ordered to pay a fine (£800) along with a victim surcharge (£80) and costs (£930).
This isn’t the first time the 27-year-old has had a run-in with the law. He received a six-month suspended sentence for affray and assault in February 2012.
