RIP.

Netflix’s Hellbound and Disney+’s Snowdrop star Kim Mi-soo has tragically passed away at the age of 29.

The Korean actress passed away suddenly, with her agency Landscape releasing a statement announcing her death.

In the statement, they said that her loved ones are “deep in their sorrow” by the “sudden” loss of the actress.

“Kim suddenly left us on Jan. 5,” the statement said on Wednesday January 5.

“The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness.

“Please refrain from reporting false rumors or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace.”

The statement was obtained by Variety and then translated from Korean and no cause of death was given.

Kim played a fourth-year student and activist called Yeo Jung-min in the series Snowdrop, starring opposite K-pop singer Jisoo, who played Eun Young-ro.

While it originally was shown on the JTBC network in Korea, it is available on Disney+ as an original series, with the story taking place only months after the June 1987 Democracy Movement in South Korea.

Kim previously starred in shows like Hi Bye, Mama!, Into the Ring and The School Nurse Files, as well as films Lipstick Revolution and Kyungmi’s World.

While the entire series of Snowdrop hasn’t aired, and Kim only appeared in seven episodes, the remaining nine are set to hit screens.

Kim was set to star in Kiss Six Sense on Disney+ and had started filming, but South Korean online platform Naver has reported that filming has been cancelled after her death was announced.
