Vogue Williams has hit out at fad diet products made popular on social media.

Four months after having her first child, Vogue shared a body update on Instagram and criticised flat tummy shakes and appetite suppressants.

She urged fans to take a more long-term approach to achieving their health and fitness goals.

“It’s January so I know lots of people will be starting at the gym,” Vogue wrote.

“Firstly the fact you’ve even started is unreal, don’t feel intimidated in there. Go to classes, get the odd PT and you’ll be flying in no time.

“Please don’t fall for those ridiculous flat tummy shakes or diet suppressants. If you want to tone up and lose weight, move more and eat healthily.

“It’s a slower process than a full on diet but the results show and last longer.”

The reality star told her followers that she was proud of her body for having made a baby and said that she’d worked out and eaten well to lose weight after giving birth to son Theodore.

“Women are hard on themselves, I’m hard on myself too but I’m happy with my body now,” Vogue continued.

“I get asked a lot about what I do to stay in shape. I’m consistent in the gym and I eat healthy ISH. I never say no to things I want but eat them in moderation.”

Flat tummy diet products and appetite suppressants have become popular on social media thanks to promotions from high-profile stars like the Kardashian sisters.

Kim Kardashian was accused of endorsing eating disorders last year when she promoted lollipops that claim to reduce appetite on her Instagram page.

Vogue is currently on holiday with her husband Spencer Matthews, baby Theodore and her in-laws James Matthews and Pippa Middleton.
