The little boy, a brother to Prince George and Princess Charlotte was born on Monday morning just after 11 am. Weighing 8lbs 7oz, the news was announced to the world at 1 pm via social media in a series of tweets.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.

Kate, also known as Catherine, wore a red Jenny Packham dress with a Peter Pan collar to present her baby boy to the world on Monday evening, less than eight hours after giving birth. People originally thought the colour choice was because Princess Diana also wore this colour combination when leaving the hospital with Prince Harry but it turns out there's another possible reason.The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.
