Ellen Fitzpatrick

A legend.

Eastenders star Laila Morse is being praised for baring all on national television, and showing off her breast cancer scars while doing it.

The 76 year old suffered from breast cancer after being diagnosed in 2001, recovering within a year.

While she made a full recovery, Laila was left with some scarring but it’s something she now wears with pride and is more than happy to show off.

While we may know her best as Mo Harris in the soap, but over the weekend she appeared on Strictly The Real Full Monty and stripped off in the name of charity.

The episode was dedicated to raising awareness around checking yourself for cancer, with stars like Duncan James, Brenda Edwards and James Jordan also taking part.

Laila openly spoke about her own journey with cancer before she headed to the stage to strip off, but had sprained her ankle during rehearsals and did her routine in a wheelchair.

In the show, celebrities bare all and walk out on stage in front of a live audience as a way of winning a cash prize for charity.

Each contestant is coached by Ashley Banjo, brought out on stage and strip off but it wasn’t a problem for the actress, who was quick to get her clothes off.

Wearing nothing but a pair of knickers, Laila showed off her body to the nation, and had no shame in showing the scars on her breasts.
