Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has laughed off the idea of a Dancing on Ice 'curse' after revealing her skating partner. The idea behind the 'curse' is that the celebrity contestant on shows like Dancing on Ice or Strictly Come Dancing may jeopardise their relationship by getting too close to their professional partner. Ekin-Su, however, has no such concerns, and even admitted to laughing off the idea. Ekin-Su will compete on the show alongside Darren Harriott, The Vivienne, Mollie Gallagher, Nile Wilson, Patsy Palmer, John Fashanu, Michelle Heaton, Siva Kaneswaran and Joey Essex. The reality competition show starts on ITV in January 2023. When Ekin-Su was named as one of the celebrities taking part, she shared that she was "so excited". Appearing on Good Morning Britain, she said: "I’ve got some amazing news to tell you, I’m going to be doing this year’s Dancing on Ice! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to get myself on the ice and skate. Stay tuned and see you on the ice."
