“Well, what would Nomi do?”

Twenty years ago, Saved by the Bell star Elizbeth Berkley shocked fans (young and old) when she starred in Showgirls.

The erotic drama was widely panned as one of the worst films of the decade, earning a then-record of seven Golden Raspberry Awards.

Over the years, however, the film has found its way to cult status with a legion of loyal fans.

On Saturday night, Elizabeth, who found fame as uptight Jessie Spano, attended a 20th anniversary outdoor screening of Showgirls at Cinespia’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

In a lengthy speech, she thanked the 4,000 fans in attendance for giving her the reception she never received when the film was first released.
