Emeli Sandé supported by fans as she shares first snap of new girlfriend

Scottish singer Emeli Sandé has told fans that it feels like "a weight has been lifted", as she shares the first snap of her new girlfriend Yoana Karemova.
In a post shared to Instagram, Emeli introduced Yoana, writing: "It's taken me many years to find the strength to be myself. I've struggled for a long time to accept myself as I am.
"I'm so lucky to have found my soul mate Yoana, she's such an extraordinary woman! Falling in love with her gave me the strength I needed! Feels so good to be in love and I feel happier than ever."
As she continued, she thanked fans for being so supportive.
She wrote: "I'm deeply touched by all your messages of love and supply. Thank you so much for your acceptance and kind wishes. Feels like a huge weight has been lifted, here's to a new beginning in truth and happiness."
Emeli was met with love and acceptance from many of her famous friends in the comments section.

To this, Emeli responded saying: "thanks you! Feels so good to be myself and embrace our love fully."
According to Metro, Emeli's partner Yoana is a classically trained musician.
When asked by the publication if she is bisexual, Emeli said: "I'm not sure what I identify as, but I guess so. . I just feel like I should fall in love with whoever I fall in love with."
