It’s a hectic year for Gorka, it seems.
Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson has postponed her wedding to Strictly Come Dancing’s Gorka Marquez.
The pair had originally planned on tying the knot this year, but due to Gorka’s intense schedule, they’re going to give it some time.
Gemma, who played Carly Hope in Emmerdale, gave the wedding update during an interview with New Magazine.
She told the publication: “Gorka is literally on tour all of this year. We’ve only got four days off together.”
The actress then added: “We don’t even have a minute to sit down and begin making plans!”
Gorka is indeed very busy this year. Before returning to Strictly Come Dancing in autumn, he’ll have his hands full with not one, but two Strictly tours, which leaves him with just four days of downtime.
However, Gemma has said that they may have another baby before heading down the aisle.

The couple are already proud parents to two-year-old Mia, and they’re certainly not ruling out having another any time soon.
During a recent appearance on The Secret To with Vicky Pattinson, Gemma told listeners that she would rather try for another baby then go for a “big fancy wedding”.
Gemma and Gorka first met while on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017. She had been partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec, and while they didn’t take the trophy – they finished in fourth place – Gemma did come away with a new beaux – her opponent Gorka.
The pair welcomed their daughter Mia in July 2019, and last year, Gorka popped the question on Valentine’s Day.
At the time, Gemma took to Instagram to share the happy news with a caption that read: “Valentine’s forever…Of course I said yes.”
Gorka, similarly shared the update with his Instagram followers, writing: “The best day with my forever Valentine’s. I asked and she said YES!!!!!!”
