James Blunt has married his girlfriend of two years.
According to the Sunday Express, the You’re Beautiful singer wed Sofia Wellesley in a small chapel in Mallorca.
The pair became engaged last December following a year of dating, after his sister Daisy introduced them to one another in 2012.
”Everyone is talking about it. We were sort of expecting it but it is still great news,” a source told the newspaper.
The singer had previously spoken about his relationship with Sofia, who is the granddaughter of the Duke Of Wellington, saying that she was understanding of his career.
”I’m very happy at the moment with Sofia. It takes a strong person to be able to deal with somebody working in music,” he said.
“It’s hard when you’re with somebody and you become embroiled in something just because you were seen standing next to someone else. It takes a tough person to deal with that and I’m lucky to have her.”
