Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got married in Italy on 22 May in one of the most-talked about weddings of the year.
Curious how much it cost? Thankfully, E! News have calculated the spendings from the elaborate weekend.
The publication broke down the typical cost of accommodation, food, wine, entertainment, travel etc., and estimated that the pair spent a whopping $3.5 million. Here’s a breakdown.
A one way flight to the closest airport to Portofino on a Gulfstream G550 that seats up to 12 people can cost up to $220,447 (€205,857) one-way. Two roundtrip flights would cost $881,788 (€823,431)
Many guests stayed at the Splendido, which is described as “one of the most enchanting hotels in Portofino”. To stay in a suite with an ocean view and balcony costs about $6,097 (€5693) per night.
Renting out the wedding venue, Castello Brown, would have cost Kourtney and Travis about $18,501 (€17,276).

When it comes to food and drink, the two did not hold back. To kick off the wedding festivities, guests dined at Ristorante Puny, where they ate handmade trofie pasta with pesto, baked sea bass, fresh fruit, and a selection of Italian wines. Food items combined with the price of alcohol, brings the bill to roughly $214 (€199,75) per person.
Guests then headed to Cafe Excelsior after dinner for cocktails and ice cream, with E! estimating the bill at another $10,700 (€9,987). Dining at the Abbey of San Fruttuoso over the course of the wedding weekend was estimated to be around the same price.
As for catering, the base rate for use of kitchen at Castello Brown is $1,068.58 (€997).
The couple also had a wedding cake on every guest table, with the average cost of a cake being $500 |(€466).
According to Wine.com, a bottle of Ruinart Brut Rosé can cost about $110 (€102), so for a champagne reception you’d need roughly 15 bottles, adding up to a total of $5,500 (€5,133).

For decor, the newlywed’s Dolce & Gabbana table setting was likely included in the price of the venue hire, but it would cost $136,000 (€126,946) to replicate. While it’s not known how much their floral arrangement cost, People reported that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West spent $136,000 (€126,946) on flowers for their 2014 wedding.
Entertainment at the event included Andrea, who can cost up to $749,000 (€699,139) and DJ Cassidy, who charges between $40,000 (€37,337) and $74,999 (€70,006)
Many guests were also photographed using water taxis over the weekend and according to private yacht company Click&Boat, you can rent a boat with space for 11 people for $2,047 (€1,910) per day.
Before their nuptials, Kourtney and Travis were spotted relaxing on a gorgeous luxury yacht, the price to rent one of these can be between $200,000 to $225,000 a week (€186,686 – €233,357)
And last but not least, the glam.
E! reckons each Kardashian’s outfit cost around $10,000 (€9,334) a head. Then house call rates for hair and makeup come in at about $1,000 (€933) each per person.
It’s not known how much Kourtney’s lavish dress cost, but her sister Kim spent around $500,000 (€46,6715) on her ensemble back in 2014.
