FAME FINDER: Where Are They Now? This Week… Lisa Turtle

Fame is a fickle friend, and we've all questioned over a cup of tea where that lad from the dodgy 90s boyband/film/TV show ended up. We've decided to track them down, and catch you up on their lives to date. Have they stayed in showbiz or turned their back on the game? You won't believe it 'til you see it.  Today's Fame Finder: Lark Voorhies, a.k.a Lisa Turtle There wasn't a child of the 90s who didn't love Lisa Turtle. From batting away Screech's affections to rocking a perm with her own scrunchie collection, Lisa kept us entertained on Saved by the Bell with her witty one-liners. Voorhies went on to play roles in soap operas Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful and In the House. The actress also appeared in music videos for Dru Hill and Boyz II Men. She also modelled for a Head & Shoulders shampoo ad and acne cream, Oxy10. Following on from her career in front of the camera, Lisa set up her own production company but has spent recent years defending herself following claims of drug use and a mental breakdown. The actress, who was diagnosed with bi-polar in 2012, prepared a number of interviews on American entertainment shows to address the rumours, saying: “I have no worries myself, nor do I exude, exhibit or possess within my living stratus any reason why someone should worry [on] my behalf — it’s completely fictional.” All we know is, you don't mess with Lisa Turtle.
