Bruce Springsteen was attending the Stand Up For Heroes charity auction, who benefits war veterans, when he decided that the two guitars he had offered for sale weren’t enough.
Instead, he ended up auctioning an entire day of activities… including an Italian feast at his home.
Two fans bid $300,000 each to spend the day with The Boss and will receive a guitar lesson, followed by a ride around New Jersey in the side car of Springsteen’s motorbike.
After the jaunt around town, the Born To Run singer will bring the fans back to his home and cook them a lasagne.
The auction raised over $1m, with the majority of the sum coming from Springsteen’s contribution.
