Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson shocked just about everyone when it was announced they had gotten engaged after just weeks of dating.
The pair’s happy news emerged after their whirlwind relationship began earlier this summer – but some fans reckon we could be hearing wedding bells for them very, very soon.
Some social media users have theorised that the couple could be saying ‘I do’ on August 4, 2018 – or 8/4/18 – in tribute to Davidson’s father.
Scott Davidson, a member of the FDNY, was killed in the line of duty in the September 11, 2001.
In tribute to his dad’s memory, the SNL comedian has the number 8418 – his dad’s badge number – tattooed on his arm.
Grande revealed the same kid of tattoo on her foot earlier this month, and Davidson later gave her a necklace with his dad’s pendant.
So, basically, the clear significance of the number has fans wondering if Grande and Davidson have also been dropping hints about their wedding date.
Under the photo of the singer wearing the pendant, one fan said:
“Seems like a good wedding date…”
