Actor Val Kilmer who played Batman back in 1995 has voiced his support for Ben Affleck following the announcement that he is to take on the iconic role.
Affleck’s selection as Batman has divided people online but Val reached out and asked fans to “Give Ben a chance.”
Ben, who is an Oscar-winning director, will be playing Batman's alter-ego Bruce Wayne in an upcoming Superman sequel that’s being directed by Zack Snyder.
The film will see Batman and Superman face up against each other.
