Former Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallet engaged after one week of dating

Roxanne Pallet has announced her engagement to Lee Walton. The pair have officially announced that they are tying the knot, as Lee spontaneously proposed to Roxanne after one week of dating. In a shoot for OK! Magazine, Roxanne said: "We were engaged within a week of meeting! I know it sounds crazy, but I knew my heart." The pair first met on a dating website and speaking of when they initially laid eyes on each other, she said: "When I walked into the pub and saw him I thought, oh my God, you’re real. I just flung my arms around him and it was like we’d been together forever. We were kissing within five minutes!" While Lee said of the moment 'he knew': "She was getting ready and dancing and I said: 'I could get used to this. Move in with me?' She agreed and on our first night living together I was looking at her, thinking, God I love you.

"And then I just said: 'Will you marry me?'"

Lee proposed without a ring, so they decided to get matching tattoos in their ring fingers instead.
