The pair met while the presenter was working on RTE's The Disney Show - O'Driscoll had replaced Mary Kingston as one of the presenters of the morning children's TV show. Before that, Emma auditioned for RTE's talent show, Popstars. She became one of the members of pop group Six, who shot to the top of the charts with their single, Whole Lotta Loving. Soon afterwards, the group broke up and Emma turned her hand towards presenting and pantomime. The mum also set up a stage school, Gemstars School of Performing Arts, where she teaches children how to perform, sing and dance.
