Full List Of Winners At The National Television Awards

No major surprises with the winners.

The stars turned out last night for the 21st National Television Awards, in London. 

The awards, which were hosted by Dermot O’Leary, recognise talent and productions in the television industry. To see what the stars wore on the night click here.

Ant & Dec received the award for TV Presenter of the Year for a 15th year in a row.

While collecting the award, Dec said, “Thank you so much, this is amazing. People said to us on the way tonight, ‘Does it get boring winning awards?’ Of course, it doesn’t! If anything, our gratitude has grown over the years because you never know when you’re going to get it again.”

Shayne Ward took home the award for Best Newcomer, for his role as Aidan Connor in Coronation Street, while Billy Connolly was honoured on the night with a Special Recognition Award.

Downton Abbey got their last ever NTA, picking up the Drama award. Laura Carmichael, who played Lady Edith Crawley, held back the tears as she spoke on stage saying: “It has been the most incredible six years and I will try not to get emotional. Thanks for coming with us on the journey.”
