Reality TV star Gemma Collins has said she will donate the fee she received for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here to charity.

The Only Way Is Essex regular left the celebrity jungle after just 72 hours which meant that she wouldn’t receive the full fee previously agreed.

During an interview on ITV’s This Morning, Gemma said: “I didn’t collect my full fee. I was given a percentage which is going to a charity for starving children.”

Gemma also spoke about how she found life in the Australian outback: “I’ll be honest with you, I was starving! I’m a plus size girl, I went from everything to 500 calories a day, and that did affect me and when I went in the Bush Telegraph”.

“The room was spinning around, all my blood sugar levels had dropped, I am meant to take insulin three times a day, but with all what happened to me, I forgot to take my medication in the jungle as well” said Gemma.

The 33-year-old is currently filming the Christmas special of TOWIE.
